Our Programs.
MSU Vision 2020 team believes in agility in delivering services for the betterment of MSU Baroda Faculty of Technology and Engineering students and faculty. We listen to the stakeholders and students and fine-tune our programs based on the prioritized needs of the students and the Dean. We get requests for more programs than our capacity to serve and ensure good ROI on the invested money. We want to make sure each program has strong alumni champions. Good governance and transparency with impact analysis are crucial to sustaining these programs yearly. When programs falter, we attempt to remedy them and may even discontinue them.
PROGRAM-1
Launched in 2020
Incubator
Innovate it.
Success in tomorrow’s world will require innovation, courage, and passion. But it all begins with a dream. Maybe our students want to launch a business or turn their dreams into products that change the world. We are ready to share our experiences on innovation and entrepreneurship.
PROGRAM-2
Launched in 2020
Mentoring
Dream it.
When we graduated from MSU, we had scarce resources and mentors to help guide our careers and aspirations. Hence, our idea here is to connect students with alumni mentors and build a trusting relationship to further their careers and dreams. We are ready to mentor leaders of tomorrow.
PROGRAM-3
Launched in 2020
Merit Awards
Earn it.
Typically merit students in colleges are recognized and rewarded in their final year of studies. Why not recognize students from their first year? Our program recognizes and rewards excellence and encourages the merit students to persist against all odds to sustain their smart path forward.
PROGRAM-4
Launched in 2020
Catalyst
Learn it.
With the rapidly evolving technological world, how can students have the most relevant skills to build their careers? We are the catalyst to work with MSU faculty to bring innovative certificate programs, guest lecture series, and colloquia from the best names in the industry, many are MSU global alumni.
PROGRAM-5
(NEW) Launching in 2022
Smart Infrastructure
Build it.
Smart Infrastructure improvements allow faculty and students to create a conducive learning environment. The alumni will work to improve the infrastructure - physical and virtual - in partnership with local industries on a prioritized list of projects.
PROGRAM-6
(NEW) Launching in 2022
AI-ML COE
Smart it.
AI is already having a profound impact on the bottom line of businesses, with companies seeing improvements in business outcomes. Our goal with the Center of Excellence for AI-ML is to establish an agile learning opportunity for Techo students and to get ready for the brave new digital world.
PROGRAM-7
(NEW) Launched in 2022
Alumni Office
Organize it.
The MSU Baroda Office of Alumni Affairs and Donor Relations initiative started in 2015. Since then, a lot of good work has been done. Alumni outreach, membership, and donation drives are critical to establishing a university-wide Endowment Fund. Hence, MSU Vision 2020 is now actively funding three full-time India-based staff to assist OOADR.
PROGRAM-8
(PLAN) Launching in 2023
Endowment Fund
Fund it.
The backbone of a successful and sustainable non-profit organization attempting to do good for any university is a strong endowment fund that raises large sums of money from all stakeholders - alumni, industry, matching funds from public sources, and private sources. A strong governance structure can then ensure good governance for years to come.
